Ariel Tzvia Lippman is a Mashpi’ah Ruchanit, (Spiritual Director), with advanced training in embodied spiritual direction. She also facilitates energy healings with certification in six different energy healing modalities. Ariel was ordained as an Eshet Hazon (Woman of Vision) and certified as a Mashpi’ah by Aleph. She leads chanting services and has led havurot and retreats on kabbalah and embodied wisdom. Ariel has been a leader in Jewish Renewal as a chant leader, as staff of Kol Zimra chant leadership training, as faculty of the Embodying the Great Mystery program, and as a Yoreshet (lineage holder) of feminine kabbalah.
Previously, Laura Lippman had a 40-year career as a national and international expert on indicators of child and youth well-being, focusing on youth-centered education and soft-skill development. She led the first official government monitoring report on child well-being, America’s Children: Key National Indicators of Well-being, for which she received a Hammer Award from then V.P. Al Gore. She co-authored two books, What Do Children Need to Flourish? and Flourishing Children: Defining and Testing Indicators of Positive Development, as well as dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles in major scientific journals. She received her B.A. from Colorado College, served as a VISTA volunteer, then attended Georgetown University graduate school.
